Description Twin Drum Cleaner 3 tons/hr
The Jansen&Heuning double-drum cleaner is designed for the efficient cleaning and separation of both undersized and oversized impurities from a wide variety of animal feed raw materials, such as wheat, barley, maize, peas, etc.
The grain cleaner meets high standards for dust emission control thanks to its enclosed design and the option to install an additional dust filter unit if required.
The perforation of the first screen must be adapted to the materials to be cleaned, the desired cleaning effect and the capacity. As an all-round solution for raw materials such as barley, wheat and
peas, a perforation of ø12 mm is recommended for the first screen.
The double drum cleaner is equipped with a cleaning brush that ensures continuous cleaning of the second screen deck.
Functioning of the Twin-Drum-Cleaner
The material first passes through the inner screen, which separates out coarse particles such as straw, chaff and larger impurities. The outer screen removes small particles, dust and sand.
