Jansen&Heuning supplies all sizes and types of chain on request and can deliver replacement chains very quickly from stock.

Drive and return sprockets are manufactured in-house and, if required, can be delivered within a few days.

Types of chain

The most common chain is the standard steel chain according to DIN8165, with type designation such as FV-112. The “112” indicates the breaking strength of the chain in kN.

For design purposes, the actual tensile load in operation should not exceed 12% to 15% of the breaking strength to ensure a long service life.

For products that may stick between the side plates of the FV chain, the more expensive fork chain is used.

Available from stock:

  • Chain FV112, DIN8165, with a pitch of 125 mm
  • Flights can be welded to the required width within a few working days
  • With optional return buckets
  • With cleaning strips for cleaning the corners of the trough
  • Drive and return sprockets with hub, bore and keyway within a few working days

Even if a different chain is currently used, replacing the sprockets with the correct diameter ensures this chain can always be made suitable for the trough of the chain conveyor.
