Elevators often operate at high speeds, which inevitably leads to wear and makes replacement necessary over time. The buckets gradually decrease in size, reducing their capacity. Replacement can usually be planned and carried out at a suitable moment.

However, situations may also occur where a piece of steel or similar material enters the bucket elevator, requiring immediate action.
Jansen&Heuning supplies a wide range of elevator buckets from stock and on request. Common versions include:
- Starco and Super Starco high-capacity buckets in steel, stainless steel and plastic
- Buckets for gravity discharge
- Buckets according to DIN19232, DIN 19233 and DIN 19234
