Bigbag unloading

Discharging bigbags is an important step in a continuous bulk handling process. The discharge installation must be aligned with the product characteristics, required capacity and available space. A well-designed system enables controlled and low-dust discharge.

Operation and process control

During discharge, the product is dosed via the outlet of the bigbag into the downstream process. A consistent product flow is essential for stable process operation and accurate dosing. Weighing systems and level measurement can be applied to monitor and automate the discharge process.

Safety and execution

Safety and ease of use play a central role in discharging bigbags. The installation is typically equipped with a robust frame, suspension hooks and a controlled outlet opening. Dust extraction and sealing cuffs reduce emissions and improve the working environment. Additional features such as massage modules or vibrating units support product flow and prevent bridging in the bag.

Additional solutions for difficult-flowing products

For poorly flowing, cohesive or hardened products, additional equipment is often required. Bigbag crushers break up compacted material and improve discharge. Lump breakers reduce larger chunks to a homogeneous product, preventing blockages in downstream processes.
